Anantapur
By Our Staff Reporter
ANANTAPUR, NOV. 23. The State Government has discharged (dismissed) the former RDO of Anantapur, K. Geetha, who was suspended earlier this year on the charge of misuse of Government funds, from the duty after the charges levelled against here were proved correct. A GO was issued last week and the dismissal came into effect with immediate effect. When contacted, the Joint Collector, Shashibhushan Kumar, stated that he had received a copy of the GO stating that she had been dismissed from the service. The decision was taken based on a report sent by the District Collector. It is learnt that there is no necessity to set up an inquiry commission against the employees whose probation is yet to be declared, like in the case of Ms. Geetha.
