National astrology meet to be held in Hyderabad
KAKINADA,
NOV. 23.
The national conference of the Astrological Societies Federation would be held at Hyderabad on January 30, according to Cherukupalli Lakshmi Nrusimha Sarma, Andhra circle governor of the federation.
He told newsmen here on Tuesday that the conference was expected to lay down guidelines for astrologers on popularising astrology and occult sciences and eliminating pseudo-astrologers who were bringing disrespect to the profession. As part of strengthening the federation, Mr Sarma said that new branches of the federation would shortly be opened in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
He claimed that the Mewar University and the UGC had accorded recognition to the federation to conduct courses in astrology and other occult sciences.
