THRISSUR, NOV. 23. Three persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a container truck at Muthuvara on the outskirts of the city early this morning. The police gave the names of the dead as R. Fazil (24) of Veliyannur, Abdul Majeed (23) of Ottappalam Cherpulassery and Kuttikkattil Benoy (23) of Ollur Ancheri. The fourth occupant in the car Avokkaran Alvin George (23) of Nellikkunnu who was injured has been admitted to the ICU of the West Fort Hospital. The accident occurred when they were returning from Guruvayur after participating in the Ekadasi celebrations. The car was completely smashed. While Majeed and Benoy died on the spot, Fazil breathed his last in the hospital.
