Appropriate action taken: India
NEW DELHI,
NOV. 23.
India said today that it had taken "appropriate action" to provide security to U.S. interests in the country.
"The U.S. has informed us that they apprehend threat to U.S. interests in Mumbai and Delhi".
Asked about the U.S. alert, the External Affairs Ministry spokesman said: "We have taken appropriate action to provide security to U.S. interests in this country," he said.
