KOCHI, NOV. 23. Krishnan, 42, an LIC agent and a native of Kunissery in Palakkad district died after he was hit by a car in front of the Maharaja's College on Tuesday afternoon. He was returning after taking part in a dharna organised by the All India Life Insurance Agents' Federation. The accident took place at 3.15 p.m. Krishnan and Unnikrishnan, 31, also hailing from Palakkad district, were hit by the car that ran into the footpath after losing control. Both were taken to the Medical Trust Hospital, but Krishnan died around 6.15 p.m. The condition of Mr. Unnikrishnan is said to be serious.
Boy killed
Vysakh Mohan, 12, son of Madan Mohan, Nettayil House, near Mangalam Tower, Chakkaraparambu, was killed after as he was hit by a tipper lorry at Chakkarapparambu-Thammanam Road on Tuesday morning. Vysakh was riding his bicycle when the accident occurred, the police said. He died before reaching the Ernakulam Medical Centre. The accident took place at 8.30 a.m.
