Army recruitment rally planned

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV. 23. An open recruitment rally for enrolment into the Army will be held at the Pangode Military Ground, from December 18 to 25, for candidates hailing from the seven southern districts of Kerala.

Vacancies in the categories of soldier (general duty), soldier (technical), soldier clerk/store keeper (technical) and soldier (nursing assistant), will be filled through the rally, according to the Col. Uday Pratap Singh, Director, Recruiting, Thiruvananthapuram.

Candidates from all the 14 districts of Kerala will be considered for the soldier (technical) categories. The written examination will be conducted at the Branch Recruiting Office, Thiruvananthapuram, at 6 a.m. on December 26.
