NEW DELHI, NOV. 23. In what appears to be a case of road rage, a truck driver allegedly stabbed to death another truck driver with a screwdriver following an altercation over the right of way on Outer Ring Road at Shalimar Bagh here late on Monday night. The accused has been arrested. The incident apparently took place around midnight when the two trucks were vying to get past each other. At Shalimar Bagh, the driver of one of the vehicles, Ashok, overtook the other vehicle, intercepted it, and forced the other driver, Rajender, to stop. He then allegedly entered into an argument with Rajender. Soon the situation went out of control and Ashok alighted from the driver's seat and dragged Rajender out of his truck. It is alleged that in a fit of rage, Rajender took out a screwdriver from the truck and stabbed Ashok in the chest. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The police have registered a case of murder and arrested Rajender. Further investigations are on.
