Misty morning forecast

NEW DELHINEW DELHINEW DELHI, NOV. 23.NOV. 23.NOV. The weatherman has forecast a misty/smoky morning and a partly clear sky in the Capital on Wednesday. The minimum temperature would hover around 13 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature recorded at Safdarjung and Palam on Tuesday was 30.5 degrees Celsius and 30.8 degrees Celsius respectively, while the minimum temperature recorded was 13.8 degrees Celsius and 16.6 degrees Celsius respectively.

The maximum humidity at Safdarjung stood at 91 per cent and the minimum at 34 per cent. At Palam, the maximum humidity stood at 96 per cent and the minimum at 28 per cent.

Woman found murdered

NEW DELHINEW DELHINEW DELHI, NOV. 23.NOV. 23.NOV. A 27-year-old woman was found brutally murdered in her rented accommodation at Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi today. The police suspect the involvement of her husband as he is missing.

Rajni was married to Anil Thapar, who worked in a saree shop at Chandni Chowk, about 12 years ago and had three children. About three days ago, Anil left his children at their maternal grandparents' residence on some pretext. Thereafter, Rajni's parents tried to contact her over phone but did not get any response.

This morning, they informed the police fearing that something was amiss. The police reached Rajni's residence and broke open the door after they did not get any response from inside. They found Rajni's body lying in the bedroom.

A bloodstained pair of scissors and a blunt object, which were apparently used o murder Rajni, were found from the scene of crime. Investigations revealed that Rajni's husband, Anil, had gone missing.

Arrested

NEW DELHINEW DELHINEW DELHI, NOV. 23.NOV. 23.NOV. A person allegedly involved in 20 cases of mobile phone theft and snatching has been arrested from Ambedkar Nagar in South Delhi. The police recovered 10 stolen mobile sets from his possession.

The accused, Amit, during interrogation revealed that he and his accomplices were planning to commit a robbery in the Tuglakabad Institutional Area.
