This Day That Age
All outstanding disputes between India and Pakistan are now being listed and formulated by Indian and Pakistan Foreign Ministries in a new effort to settle them, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Pakistan High Commissioner to India, said in New Delhi on November 23. He said he already had talks with a senior official of the Indian Foreign Office. "As soon as the list of disputes is ready, we will decide whether there should be a conference at official level or ministerial level." He said he personally favoured direct talks between India and Pakistan on Kashmir and other disputes. "We should settle these problems either in New Delhi or in Karachi and not in London or some other place."
