Army recruitment

CHENNAI,
NOV. 24.
The Indian Army is conducting a recruitment rally at the Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington, on December 4. This is exclusively for sportsmen, sons and brothers of ex-servicemen and serving soldiers and also sons of war widows.
For tradesmen category, persons with qualification under-matric, aged 17- and-a-half and 23 years and hailing from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are eligible. For clerks category, candidates with Plus two qualification (with an aggregate minimum of 50 per cent and 40 per cent in each subject), between 17-and-a-half and 23 years and belonging to Andhra Pradesh are eligible, says a press release.
