CFBC boiler for Kutch power station
TIRUCHI: The first consignment of circulating fluidised bed combustion (CFBC) boiler materials to the Kutch Lignite Thermal Power Station, Gujarat, manufactured by the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd was flagged off on Tuesday by the General Manager (Fluidised Bed Combustion and Heat Recovery Steam Generators), BHEL, S. Rajaram. The Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB), Vadodara, placed the order on BHEL for setting up a thermal power plant of 75 MW capacity as extension unit No. 4 at its existing Kutch LTPS. The value of the order is at around Rs. 192 crores.
