QRG group to boost exports

HYDERABAD: The QRG group will be opening offices in Cyprus and Africa by March in an attempt to boost its exports. It already has offices in London, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Dubai. The group is targeting exports of Rs. 100 crores this year against Rs. 57 crores last year, according to K. L. Malik, President of Standard Electricals, a group enterprise. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said the group has targeted a turnover of Rs. 1,000 crores this year against Rs. 800 crores last year. Standard, Havell, TTL and Crabtree constitute the group, which has a strong presence in electrical fittings, cables and wires, lighting, and is a leader in MCBs (miniature circuit breakers).
