SIRSA, NOV. 24 . Seven people were killed and 36 injured in a head on collision between a tanker and a Haryana roadways bus due to poor visibility because of fog near Salamkhera village of the district, this morning. The drivers of both vehicles and the co-driver of the tanker died on the spot whereas the conductor of the bus sustained serious injuries. According to information, the bus of Haryana Roadways was on its way to Delhi from Fazilka. It left Dabwali sub-division town of the district at around 7-15 am and met with an accident within 15 minutes of its journey from Dabwali. The bus had a head-on collision with the tanker. The impact of the collision was so intense that the bus overturned. Bus driver Mohan Singh and tanker driver Parveen of Palwal and cleaner of the tanker Santosh of Kheragarh district Agra died on the spot. Chhotu Ram of Sirsa, an employee of telegraph office and one other also died on the spot. Two people, including a woman, died on way to hospital. Three of the dead could not be identified. The remaining injured were admitted to different hospitals of the district. The reason of the accident is reported to be poor visibility due to fog in the morning and a race between the tankers owned by one Deendayal of Palwal.
