Solatium given to family of Sankararaman

CHENNAI,
NOV. 24.
The Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, today handed over a solatium of Rs. 5 lakhs to the family of Sankararaman, manager of the Kancheepuram Varadarajaperumal temple, who was murdered on September 3.
Sankararaman's wife, Padma, and children received the money disbursed from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, at the Secretariat here. It would be used for the education of the children and for livelihood.
