KOLLAM, NOV. 24. The 19th district conference of the Kerala Gazetted Officers Union (KGOU) will be inaugurated here on Friday by the KPCC general secretary, Kodikunnil Suresh. The former Minister, Kadavur Sivadasan, MLA, will deliver the keynote address. Ezhukone Narayanan, MLA, the KGOU State president, Jose Kurien Kattukaran, and the DCC vice presidents, K. Karunakaran Pillai and E.Marydasan, will address the conference. The delegates' session which follows will be inaugurated by the DCC president, Sooranad Rajashekaran. The KGOU State general secretary, N. Aravindakshan, and the Congress leaders, Karumalil Sukumaran and Thodiyur Ramachandran, will address. A symposium on the modernisation of the Kollam civil station will be inaugurated by the vice-president of the Khadi Board, K.C. Rajan. The State vice-president of the KGOU, P.K. Jacob, will inaugurate the concluding meeting.
