Plea to withdraw case against Vellaiyan

TIRUCHI,
NOV. 24.
The Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangangalin Peravai has urged the Government to withdraw the case against its State president, Vellaiyan.
In a statement here today, the Peravai district secretary, V. Govindaraju, alleged police high-handedness in the arrest and sought the State's intervention.
He urged the Government not to ill -treat the trading community.
