HYDERABAD, NOV. 24. The Egyptian Government is setting up an Indo-Egypt Cultural Centre in the city to promote cultural ties between both nations, the Ambassador of Egypt in India, Quairuddin Abdul Latif Mohammed, said here on Wednesday. In the city for a seminar organised by Osmania University, the Ambassador called on the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and extended an invitation to him to visit Egypt. Acknowledging the history of communal harmony in the city, he said Hyderabad would be venue for the proposed seminar on `Holy Quran for humanity in changing global scenario on terrorism.' Islamic scholar, Al Azar Alama Tantatvi, would participate in the seminar, he said. The Information Minister, Mohd. Shabbir Ali, and the president of All-India Religious Leaders' Association, Moulana Peerzada Shabbir Naqshbandi, were present.
