France in final

MOSCOW, NOV. 25. Nathalie Dechy and Tatiana Golovin led the way as defending champion France stormed into the Fed Cup final with five straight-set wins over Spain in their semifinal tie on Thursday.

In the final, France will face the winner of the Russia vs. Austria semifinal.

Russia was leading 2-0 after the opening singles through victories by Anastasia Myskina and Svetlana Kuznetsova.

The results (semifinals):

France 5, Spain 0 (Tatiana Golovin bt Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-3, 6-3; Nathalie Dechy bt Maria Sanchez Lorenzo 6-2, 6-4; Nathalie Dechy bt Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-3, 6-1; Tatiana Golovin Marta Marrero 6-3, 6-4. Marion Bartoli/Emilie Loit bt Marta Marrero/Virginia Ruano Pascual 7-5, 6-2).
