HUBLI, NOV. 25. The Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh, will visit Belgaum and Dharwad districts on Saturday. It will be his first visit to these districts after assuming office. Mr. Singh, who will reach Belgaum by a special plane at 10 a.m. on Saturday, is expected to participate in a national seminar on `Disciplinary action against advocates.' He will later reach Hubli-Dharwad and fly back to Bangalore in the evening. In Dharwad, the Chief Minister is scheduled to participate in a series of programmes, which include the formal inauguration of the water supply scheme for Hubli-Dharwad, laying the foundation stone for the extension for the economically weaker sections being built by the Hubli-Dharwad Urban Development Authority at Lakamanahalli, declare open the golden jubilee memorial building of the Karnatak University, and lay the foundation stone for the Basaveshwara Bhavan to commemorate the silver jubilee of the Basava Chair at the university. After participating in a programme planned by the Dharwad Bar Association to felicitate him, Mr. Singh will go to Hubli to inaugurate the new office and residential building of the Police Commissionerate, Hubli-Dharwad, school buildings built on behalf of the Roundtable of India and Banjar Bhavan, before returning to Bangalore.
