HUBLI, NOV. 25. The South Western Railway has decided to add more coaches to the Yeshwantpur-Vasco da Gama and the Chennai-Vasco da Gama trains to clear the extra rush during the exposition of the remains of St. Francis Xavier, which is now on in Goa. One AC three-tier and three second-class sleeper coaches will be added to thetrains. This will be in force up to January 22 next year. South Western Railway has also decided to convert the Bangalore-Jodhpur-Bangalore Express from weekly to bi-weekly from December 1. The 6508 Bangalore-Jodhpur bi-weekly express will leave Bangalore at 9. 25 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. In the return direction, the train (6507) will leave Jodhpur at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday and Thursday from December 4. There is no change in the composition of the trains, which includes 21 coaches two AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 12 second-class sleeper, three general second-class coaches, two luggage-cum-brake vans of the same class, and one pantry car. South Western Railway has provided a one-minute stop at Banavar station between Arsikere and Birur section of the Mysore division of Southern Railway for the 587/588 Bangalore-Hubli-Bangalore passenger train for three months and this came into effect from November 20.
