Haryana officials transferred

CHANDIGARH, NOV. 25. The Haryana Government has posted Kamlesh Kumar, Under Secretary, Planning and Printing and Stationery Departments, as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Narwana, in place of Satbir Singh, whose posting orders will be issued later on.

Ishwar Singh Satrawala, Private Secretary in the office of the Financial Commissioner, has been promoted as Under Secretary and posted as Under Secretary, Rehabilitation.

Invited for workshop

Meenakshi Goyal, a Reader in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Panjab University, has been invited by the Indian Carbon Society to take part in the deliberations of the International Workshop on Carbon Materials For Energy Applications to be held at the National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi.

The workshop will be addressed by several carbon scientists from the United States, Britain, Spain, Korea and Japan.
