Thundershowers likely in south T.N.

CHENNAI, NOV. 25. Rainfall occurred at a few places over Lakshadweep.

Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are: Kodavasal (Thiruvarur dt.) 4, Needamangalam and Nannilam (both Tiruvarur dt.) 3 each, Tirukattupalli and Tiruvidaimarudur (both Thanjavur dt.), Muthupet and Tiruthuraipoondi (both Tiruvarur dt.), Tiruvarur, Mannargudi and Mayiladuthurai (both Nagapattinam dt.), Adiramapattinam, Alangudi (Pudukottai dt.), Tiruvadanai (Ramanathapuram dt.), Tondi, CIAL Kochi and Minicoy 2 each and Pudukottai, Cuddalore, Karaikal, Kumbakonam (Thanjavur dt.), Aranthangi and Perungalur (both Pudukottai dt.), Ambasamudram (Tirunelveli dt.), Tiruchirapalli Airport and Thiruvananthapuram Airport 1 each. The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over interior Karnataka, fell at one or two places over Tamil Nadu and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam districts of north Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and southern parts of Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, north Kerala and northern parts of Lakshadweep.
