By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD,
NOV. 25.
The Vijayawada MP, L. Rajagopal, in a statement here on Thursday denied that the APCC president, K. Keshava Rao, had sought explanation from him over the controversy created by his letter to the Chief Minister over irrigation tenders.
Mr. Rajagopal said he had resigned to the post of the chairman of the Rs. 1,600-crore Lanco Group of Companies before plunging into politics in 2003 with plans to spend Rs. 6.5 crores of his own funds for development of his constituency.
