CUDDAPAH, NOV. 25. The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president, K. Keshava Rao, on Thursday charged the former Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Telugu Desam Party leaders with politicising the issue of irrigation projects to stall their completion. Farmers of all regions would be provided irrigation facility by completing projects within five years, he asserted while addressing the district Congress extended meeting here. The State would become `Annapurna' again and transformed into `Harithandhra Pradesh', he said. The Cuddapah MP, Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, wanted partymen to enrol youth and women and strive to win the ensuing municipal elections. The Rajampet MP, A. Sai Prathap, alleged widespread fund misuse during the TDP rule and maintained that the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, would continue in power for at least 15 years. The Mydukur MLA, D.L. Ravindra Reddy, while resenting the TDP charge on irrigation projects, recalled that Mr. Chandrababu Naidu introduced the EPC system in tenders for Devadula and two other projects a year ago.
