GUNTUR, NOV. 25. A human chain will be formed in Guntur district to bring awareness among people against the evils of the dowry system. The district Collector, G. Jayalakshmi, has given a call to youth and people of the city to participate in forming a human chain at 11 a.m. Similar human chains would be formed at all mandal headquarters, rallies taken out and an oath administered to all youth to discourage dowry system. This human chain was being formed following a call given by the National Women's Commission.
