Easy win for Choice School
KOCHI,
NOV. 25.
Choice School, Tripunithura, scored an easy six-wicket over NSS HSS, Tripunithura, and entered the final of the XVIII Refinian Cup inter-school cricket tournament at the KRL Oval, Ambalamugal, on Thursday.
In Friday's final, Choice School will take on Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Girinager, which defeated Cochin Refineries School `A by 12 runs in the second semifinal.
The scores: NSS HSS 174 for seven in 25 overs (R. Anup 88 not out) lost to Choice School 178 for four in 22.2 overs (Naveen 75 not out, Mathai 49 not out).
Bhavan's Vidya Mandir 173 for eight in 25 overs (Varun Sunil 51) bt CRS `A' 161 for nine in 25 overs.
