HYDERABAD, NOV. 25. SAAP Academy defeated Victory Playground 55-42 in the women's quarterfinal of the MCH Open basketball tournament for men and women being at the VPG here on Thursday.

Women: Quarterfinals: SAAP Academy 55 (A.S.C. Kalvari 14, Rajya Lakshmi 12, Susheela 12) bt Victory Playground 42.

Men: Pre-quarterfinals: YMCA Sec'bad 58 (Maradona 12, Ignatius 12, Ahmed 10, Moses 10) bt NIRD 19 (Aksar Ali 10).

AOC Centre 60 (Babu 14, Satyanarayana 10, Geetesh 10) bt BHEL 23 (Shekar 14).
