Good day for HASC

BANGALORE, NOV. 25. Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club (HASC) posted two wins in the semifinal league of the Association Cup basketball championship here on Thursday. HASC beat MEG 71-61 and later crushed Karnataka State Police 74-38.

The results: Men: MEG 54 (Sweto 19, Manikanatan 11) bt Vijaya Bank 48; HASC 71 (Girish 17, Sachindra 15, Umashankar 13) bt MEG 61 (Sweto 24, Prashanth 13); HASC 74 (Umashankar 18, Ssachindra 18) bt KSP 38 (Subban 11); Vijaya Bank 80 (Murali Mohan 33) bt KSP 54 (Sanath Shetty 21, Mahesh 15).

Women: IBBC 38 (Sonam 13, Pavitra 11) bt JSC 24 (Ashika 11); Sports Hostel bt Beagles 47-23; IBBC bt Beagles 36-24; Sports Hostel bt JSC 46-13.
