Big win for Aravali
NEW DELHI,
NOV. 25.
David Bernal slotted home five goals while Bhawani Singh Kalvi and Raghav Raj Singh had three each as Aravali Polo defeated Thunderbolt Jodhpur 14-6 in the Maharaja Hari Singh memorial cup (14-goal) polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo Grounds here on Thursday.
Gonzalo Bernal chipped in with two goals as Aravali dominated the sessions. For the Jodhpur team, Gerardo Mazzini scored all six goals. In the second match, Oberoi Blues triumphed over Army 13-7 as Hamza Khan fired six goals. Dhruvpal Godara (5) and Lokendra Singh (2) were the other scorers for Oberoi Blues.
