Certificates
COIMBATORE, NOV. 25. Caste certificates will be issued to eligible Irula tribals in Thondamuthur, Ikkarai Boluvampatti and Mathvarayapuram areas, by December 5. A release said that officials, who had visited villages in the area on November 24, had issued 59 certificates at a special camp, after verifying applications. On learning that many of the tribal students in the area did not have caste certificates, the officials decided to carry out a campaign for a week, to cover all the eligible students and obtain applications from them. Officials would distribute certificates after completing the verification process.
