Mainly clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 15.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday. The relative humidity was 42 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 38 per cent. The forecast for Friday is: the sky will be mainly clear and the minimum temperature will be 15 degrees Celsius.

Course

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers will organise a short-term course on "EMI control in digital systems, embedded systems, Vx works and network programming in Linux" on Sundays from December 5. For details contact Ph: 23331133, 23337231.

ISEON

Charity bazaar

December is the season for both charity and bazaars. The International Women's Group in the city will organise one such fun-filled day at St. Joseph's Boys High School ground on December 4. Stalls exhibiting exquisite needlework, handicrafts and educational toys will be up for sale. There will also be food stalls.

`Blitzkrieg'

It's time for some festivities and some serious paper presentations on Friday at B.M.S. College of Engineering's Department of Electricals and Electronics. The event, Blitzkrieg, will have games such as dumb charades, air crash and aptitude tests. The department is also holding paper presentations and project exhibitions.
