Bi-weekly train

KOCHI, NOV. 25. The Ernakulam-Patna-Ernakulam weekly train has been made a biweekly. The Patna-bound train (No: 6309) is to leave Ernakulam Junction on Mondays and Tuesdays at 5.25 p.m. and reach Patna at 11.25 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Ernakulam-bound train (No: 6310) will leave Patna at 1.20 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and will reach Ernakulam Junction at 11.10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Quiz contest winners

The Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor, won the inter-school science quiz organised by the Rotary Club of Cochin Harbour in association with Triumphant Institute of Management Education.

Music concert

Hindustani vocalist Ustad Rashid Khan will perform at the Taj Residency here on Saturday evening. The Raksha Society for the Care of Children with Special Needs is organising the concert as part of its annual fund-raising drive. The concert will begin at 7 p.m., Raksha office-bearers said here today.
