ASI suspended

An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) posted with the Prem Nagar police post in North-West Delhi has been placed under suspension on charges of not registering a case in which the father of a four-year-old girl had alleged that she had gone missing on Tuesday. The next morning, her body was found near the railway tracks. It appeared as though she had been criminally assaulted before being murdered.
