Special trains to Tirunelveli

CHENNAI, NOV. 26 . A special train will be operated between Tirunelveli and Egmore to clear the waitlisted passengers.

Train-0612 Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore special will leave at 3 p.m. on November 28 and reach here at 4.30 a.m. next day. Train-0611 will leave Egmore at 7 p.m. on November 29 and reach Tirunelveli at 8 a.m. next day.

The Southern Railway will also operate the following additional winter special trains to meet the demands during the festival seasons: Train-0889/0890 Tata Nagar-Chennai Central special (weekly) will leave Tata Nagar at 3.10 p.m. on all Saturdays and reach Chennai Central at 11 p.m. next day. It will leave Chennai Central at 2.15 p.m. on all Mondays and reach Tata Nagar at 9.30 p.m. next day.

This service will be available from December 18 to January 29 from Tata Nagar and from December 20 to January 31 from Chennai.

Reservation for these trains will begin on November 27, according to a railway release.
