Thousands throng Chottanikkara temple

KOCHI, NOV. 26. Thousands of devotees thronged the Chottanikkara Bhagawathy Temple on Trikkarthika day today.

The temple opened at 3.30 a.m., following which a Pantheeradipooja and Sribhootabali were carried out. The Annadanam ended much after the scheduled time, because of the crowds.

A Kaazhchaseeveli, Deeparadhana, Niramala, Chuttuvilakku and Karthikavilakku too were held. A musical performance by K. Omanakutty, Rajiv Rangan, Arundhati and Laila Ravindran too was organised. The Mandala Mahotsavam will conclude on January 14, with Laksadeepam and Vedikettu.
