CHENNAI, NOV. 27. LifeStyle International (P) Ltd, the Dubai-based Landmark group's departmental store, has unveiled a new brand identity. The identity is characterised by a new-look logowith a clean and contemporary typeface. The logo with a bubble coloured in pick and orange symbolises fashion and youth. Addressing presspersons, the Managing Director, Kumar S., said the company was targeting a turnover of Rs. 450 crores in the next two years and would add 13 new stores to its retail chain. In 2003-04, the turnover was Rs. 240 crores. Mr. Kumar said besides the Chennai store, the company had seven stores.There were plans to increase the number of stores to 13 in two years, and 21 in three years. The expansion would be funded by internal accruals and bank borrowings. The cost of the first phase of expansion would be Rs. 140 crores, he said.
