PONDICHERRY, NOV. 27. The first and second MBBS examinations will be held at the Directorate of Distance Education in the Pondicherry University at Kalapet near here. This will be the common centre for the November 2004 session of the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), the Aarupadaiveedu Medical College, the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute and the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. The examinations will be held from November 29 to December 9, according to a release from the Controller of Examinations in Pondicherry University. The examinations for the first and second MBBS of Vinayaka Mission's Medical College, Karaikal will be held at Perunthalaivar Kamarajar College of Education at Karaikal, the common centre for the region, the release said. All these colleges are affiliated to Pondicherry University.
