Western Air Command wins title

HYDERABAD, NOV. 27. Western Air Command won the title in the Air Force chess championship, conducted at the Air Force Station Hakimpet here on Saturday. Maintenance Command was runner- up.

The individual championship was won by B.V. Prakash of Maintenance Command and A.K. Verma of Western Air Command was the runner-up.

Thirty-two players from seven commands of the air force took part in the championship. Air Commodre R. Kacker , VM, Air Officer Commanding AFS Hakimpet, gave away the prizes.
