Top honour for Kerala Pavilion
The award-winning façade and inner decoration of the pavilion were designed by artist Jinan.
Puppetry on AIDS awareness
The performance, directed by Kat Katha -- a renowned group of puppeteers -- is a collaborative effort of children of various DPS Schools and people living with HIV/AIDS and will be staged at the Rohini branch of the school. The performance looks at AIDS not simply as a disease but as a phenomenon. It talks about an apathetic society and the misconceptions and biases about those suffering from this disease. The play highlights the beauty of life. Before this puppetry performance, there would be screening of film on "Jagrit" -- an initiative launched by the DPS Society under the aegis of the Sports and Health Care Department -- and an address by the Chairman of DPS Society, Narendra Kumar.
