JK Tyre team for Dubai 25-hour karting race

COIMBATORE, NOV. 27. For the first time ever an Indian team will compete in the 25-hour karting endurance race to be held on the streets of Dubai on December 9 and 10, according to a release from JK Tyre.

It said the event is an amalgamation of the famous `Le Mans' 24-hour endurance race and the `Monaco Grand Prix.'

Forty-five teams from around the world will be taking part. Team JK Tyre India will be fielding a strong line-up of drivers from across the country.

Seven drivers will be travelling to Dubai for the race and the names of the drivers will be announced on November 28 at a function at Velocity in Mumbai.
