Jana's patch-up bid

NOV. 27.
The Home Minister, K. Jana Reddy, tried to bring about truce between the Kurnool MP, Kotla Jayasurya Prakasa Reddy and the Minister for Lift Irrigation, M. Mareppa, here on Saturday.
Mr. Jana Reddy who had breakfast with Mr. Suryaprakasa Reddy also went to the house of Mr. Mareppa and asked them to sort out differences in the larger interests of the party. Later both leaders attended the function at the District Police Office where the solar fencing was formally inaugurated by the Home Minister. Talking to reporters, Mr. Mareppa said there were no major differences between him and the MP. Mr. Jana Reddy clarified that there were no differences at personal level but the leaders differed only in execution of development schemes.
