Land distribution panel formed
HYDERABAD,
NOV. 27.
The four-month-old exercise to constitute a committee on land distribution to the landless came to an end on Saturday with the appointment of Koneru Ranga Rao, Municipal Administration Minister, as chairman.
The Social Welfare Minister, Redya Naik, will be the co-chairman and the Land Administration Commissioner will be the member-convenor. The other members are: Potturi Venkateswara Rao, T. Purushottam Rao, T. Gopal Rao, and the Principal Secretary of Tribal Welfare and the Rural Development Commissioner.
The Chief Minister had written to the leaders of all political parties in this regard seeking their opinion on the policy to be adopted for distribution of land.
