TUMKUR, NOV. 28. Four persons were killed and 25 injured in three accidents here today. The police said Siddaiah (70) and Pavitra (8) were killed and 25 persons injured when the Tempo in which they were travelling rammed a tree on National Highway No. 48 at Channathimmanahalli Gate. Siddaiah was taking his relatives to the Adichunchanagiri Mutt for a puja. Rehmathulla Khan aged around 35 was returning to Narasandra in Magadi taluk after attending a marriage when a lorry fatally knocked him down at Koppa, the police said. Another person, who was riding a moped, was reportedly knocked down by a van at Singhonahalli Gate in Gubbi taluk. He died on the spot. The police are yet to establish the identity of the victim. The driver of the van has been arrested.
