KOLKATA, NOV. 28. Two premier Army remount schools stole the limelight in Competition-I of the FEI World challenge show jumping as Naib Risaldar Bhagirath on his horse Sagar and Dafedar Malchand astride Gold Finger topped the charts with unblemished performances, here at the Pat Williamson ground on Sunday. However, in the final standings Bhagirath and Sagar of RTS&D, Hempur pipped the RVC, Meerut pair of Malchand and Gold Finger to the second place for netting a better timing.
The results: Competition I: 1. Nb. Ris. Bhagirath on Sagar (RTS&D, Hempur) Rd. A penalties - 0 + Rd. B penalties - 0 (time -- 62.81); 2. Dfr. Malchand on Gold Finger (RVC, Meerut) 0+0 (66.69); 3. Arun Mariba Shetti on RE-5 (Karnataka Mounted Police) 2+0=2 (65.57). Our Sports Reporter
