CHENNAI, NOV. 28. Three persons, including a three-year-old boy, died of burns after a fire broke out at their home in Pallavaram early this morning. Pallavaram police identified the deceased as Dilli, 45, his neighbour Ahmed Basha, 48, and Basha's three-year-old son Zahid. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police said the fire broke out round 3 a.m. in Dilli's house and quickly spread to his neighbour's portion. Dilli died on the spot. Ahmed Basha, his wife Jaibunnisa and their children, Ismail and Zahid, who were asleep, were injured in the fire. They were rushed to the hospital where Ahmed Basha and Zahid were declared dead. Jaibunnisa and Ismail have been hospitalised.
