KOZHIKODE,
NOV. 29.
Host Kozhikode defeated Malappuram by 53 runs in the North Zone under-13 inter-district cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Monday. In another match, Wayand defeated Kasargod by three wickets.
The scores: Kozhikode 175 for three in 30 overs (Sarath 68) bt Malappuram 122 in 26 overs; Kasargod 116 in 30 overs lost to Wayanad 117 for seven in 26 overs.
