PAC holds review meeting

TIRUPATI. Nov 29. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) led by Y. Ramakrishnudu here today interacted with heads of various Government departments for a review of their working.
The panel members had an in-depth discussion department-wise on the allocation of funds, their utilisation and the violation of the rules and guidelines, if any.
The officers team was led by the district Collector, S.S. Rawat and the Joint Collector, G. Rajendra Prasad. Among the departments that came under review today were Velugu Project, Panchayat Raj, Housing, ICDS, SC Corporation, Social Welfare, Transport, Transco besides the Sub-Collector of Madanapalle and the RDOs of Tirupati and Chittoor besides the Tirupati Municipal Commissioner.
