JAIPUR, NOV. 29. The Rajasthan pavilion established in the 24th India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi conducted business worth Rs. 90 lakhs in view of enormous demand for handicraft and antique items from the State. The foreign and domestic entrepreneurs made enquiries for investments in the pavilion's business information centre. The Rajasthan Small-Scale Industries Corporation earned about Rs. 16 lakhs from the sale of handicraft items, saris, Jaipuri quilts, decoration items etc., according to an official release issued here today. Other stalls in the pavilion put up for sale Rajasthani bangles, shoes, jewellery, herbal products, audio cassettes of Rajasthani folk songs, desert cuisines, precious stones and marble products. The Corporation gave the prizes for designing the best stalls to the State Government's Mines Department in the Government sector and Tylo Private Limited, Udaipur, in the private sector. The Jaipur District Milk Producers' Cooperative Society was given consolation prize.
