B.Tech. spot admission

KOCHI, NOV. 29. The Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) will hold a spot admission for B.Tech. vacant seats in engineering colleges at Thrikkakara and Pulinkunnu on December 7 and 8. The admission will be held at the Cusat Guest House.

Those who figured in the Cusat or all-India engineering rank list but are yet to get an admission, and those wishing to change their subjects can take part in the spot counselling on December 7. For those in the Cusat merit list, the counselling will be held at 10 a.m., and for those in the all-India list, the counselling will be held at 1 p.m.

Those wishing to change their branch or subject should cancel their earlier admission and remit fees afresh.

Qualified candidates who do not figure in the rank lists can attend the spot admission at 10 a.m. on December 8. Those getting admission should pay the fee and produce the original certificates on the same day.

The fee for payment seat is Rs.49,680 and for SC/ST/OEC Rs.1,400. Those seeking reservation benefits must produce the original certificates to prove community, caste and income. Details are at www.cusat.ac.in.
