Mainly clear sky forecast

The sky will be mainly clear on Tuesday, according to the forecast for Bangalore. Early morning fog or mist is likely. The minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius.

On Monday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 27.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15.1 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 41 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 26.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum 15.1 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 39 per cent.

Applications invited

Narayana Nethralaya has said that November 30 is the last date to apply for its D.N.B. course in ophthalmology. Candidates with diploma in ophthalmology may apply. The entrance test will be held on December 10. For details, call 23373311.

Freedom Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) working in the field of HIV/AIDS, has organised a quiz on HIV/AIDS for women who have undergone voluntary antenatal counselling and testing at Hosahalli Referral Hospital (on November 30), Ulsoor Referral Hospital (on December 8) and at H. Siddaiah Referral Hospital (on December 15).
